Bonjour, je m’appelle Papa K.
I’m a wedding photographer and cinematographer based in the DMV, creating refined, documentary-driven imagery for couples who value authenticity, emotion, and intentional design.
Originally from Congo and fluent in both English and French, I bring a culturally aware approach to storytelling — one rooted in connection, trust, and respect for each couple’s unique journey.
My work lives at the intersection of editorial elegance and honest documentary storytelling. I focus less on directing moments and more on observing them — allowing real emotion, movement, and personality to unfold naturally. The result is imagery that feels elevated yet deeply personal.
